Chapter 7

Core Strategies for Beginners

You don't need to know every meta comp. These 3 fundamental strategies cover 90% of beginner games and are applicable every patch.

🐢

Slow Roll (1-2 Cost Reroll)

Stay at Level 6-7. Each round, roll down to ~20g then save back to 50g. Goal: 3-star a powerful 1 or 2-cost carry. Very beginner friendly.

💰

Fast 8

Save all game, hit Level 8 ASAP (usually by Stage 4-5), then roll for powerful 4-cost carries. Higher risk — you'll take damage early but spike hard late.

⚡

Hyper Roll

Roll aggressively at Level 4-5 to 3-star cheap units fast. Win streaks early, deal lots of damage. High variance but fun.

Recommended Starter Gameplan

  1. Stage 1: Just buy what you canDon't overthink it. Buy units shown in shop. Don't roll. End stage 1 with the most gold possible.
  2. Stage 2: Lock in your directionBy Round 2-3, check your bench. What traits naturally emerged? Commit to that direction.
  3. Stage 3: Build around your pivotBuy units that synergize with your chosen comp. Keep 30–50g.
  4. Stage 4-1: Level to 7 or 8Spend 4g to level up. Now your board can hold more units. Roll down if you need to hit key upgrades.
  5. Late game: Optimize positioning each fightCheck opponents before each round. Adjust carry position, move tanks. Small adjustments here win or lose placements.
